Specialty Costing Codes are the standard industry codes used by promotional products suppliers. When setting up a product, if you selected the option to allow specialty costing then you will be presented with a code pull-down list on the order line item screen.

Simply select the Pricing Code that is provided to you by the supplier. This will automatically set the Cost for the item. On commission reports for your associates if you pay commissions, this will be used to calculate the profit. you can also view the profit on the line item analysis as shown below:
