The use of marketing codes can be vital to spending your marketing dollars wisely.  Example, most people have a phone book ad, do you really know how much business you get from this ad? Or do you have a flyer you send out for a little league that cost you money to put in their parent handbook, do you know how successful that flyer is?  In other words, with tracking marketing efforts, you can see if your money spent on advertising is working. To select your marketing code, you use the drop down on the maintain order screen as shown below

On the drop down list is a set of default marketing codes, however you  can double click on the Marketing Code Box and it will bring up a screen to allow you to add your own marketing codes or you may access it via the configuration for marketing codes

To see the effectiveness of your marketing, you can create a report for a specific date range by going to the Marketing Tab at the top of BizWizard and select Marketing Analysis.
