Telephone Technical Support for your Awards Shopping Cart?
Synopsis of this Feature:
In today's internet world, it seems companies are getting away from customer service and assisting their customers via telephone. How many times have you gone to a companies web site and needed technical support for a computer, or internet service, or want to find the phone number to a particular department only to have to spend 20-30 minutes of looking until you find a phone number, if one is listed at all. Telephone communications should not be excluded from customers. A Company should always make readily available their phone number to their customers. Its called customer satisfaction. You shouldn't have to dig around a web site to find a phone number.
A customer should also have the ability to talk to a technical support representative. If a company truly desires your business, they will bend over backwards to treat you as if your their only customer. E-Mail support is a good thing, however nothing beats having that one on one communications with a real live voice on the other end of a telephone.

If you notice, at the top of EVERY page on our web site, you will find our telephone number listed in large letters. You do not need to go hunting around our site to find out how to call us on the phone.
We also believe in building relationships with our customers. We like to talk to our customers on the phone. We get to know you on a first name basis and treat you like a friend and associate. No one likes to be treated like a number and our companies philosophy is to have a relationship with each and every one of our customers. If you need to call us, please do so. We are here for you and are glad to talk, even shoot the breeze and tell a joke.
AwardsCart®:
We are not sure if AwardsCart® provides any telephone technical support, however, their web site indicates that FREE Customer support using their online support ticketing system is available. We could not find where they even provide a telephone number for you to call them on their web site. They don't list a phone number readily to be found. Even their Contact Page has no phone number, no e-mail address, and no street address. They appear to have a Google Call Me Back Feature with Voice Mail, but they do not appear to provide you with a way to call them. See the following screen shots.
With the Google Call Me Back Feature, AwardsCart® indicates if they are unavailable via telephone then Google Voice Mail will ask you to leave a message. They then request you leave your e-mail address in the voice mail message. Does this mean they will respond via e-mail or call back on the telephone? Shouldn't a phone number to call you back be more important than your e-mail address?
UPDATE: 6/27/2010 - There is a phone number listed in the terms of service agreement for AwardsCart®. We happened across this phone number on accident when we were looking to see if AwardsCart® offered a 30 day money back guarantee and we wanted to review their terms of service agreement to make this determination..
