Multiple Award and Trophy Product Details for a Single Product Image?

What is more frustrating than having to review several award and trophy products that look exactly the same in your awards shopping cart, simply because the award or trophy sizes are different thus causing different SKU or Product numbers?
In the Awards and Recognition industry, we all know that 80% of all the awards and trophies you sell come in multiple sizes, but other than the size, looks exactly the same. Imagine having the same cup trophy available in 6 Sizes, or a corporate plaque available in 5 sizes. It can be frustrating to your customers to have to review 6 different awards or trophies in your awards shopping cart that all look exactly the same only to click one by one on the award or trophy to find they are the same except the size is different.
In the case of corporate plaques, a customer sees 5 different award and trophy products listed, each with the same image, and the only difference is whether its a 7x9, or an 8x10, or a 9x12, etc. Most prepackaged shopping cart solutions on the market today use this type of design and is one reason they don't work well for the awards and recognition industry.
When designing any web site, user experience must be at the forefront of the designers mind to ensure the shopping cart is easy to use, and navigate. The lower the number of clicks a user must go through to accomplish anything on any web site, the more friendly that design will be and the more likely the customer will stay on that web site. Think about your internet surfing habits and online buying...the more you have to click and the more steps you must go through, the more frustrated you get using that web site.

Over and Over we find multiple images representing the same award or trophy line with the only difference being the award or trophies size and price. When we click on the images themselves to get details about the award or trophy, we are not provided with what the size of the award is. So now the only difference appears to be price for an item that is identical in looks to other items in the category listing..
