Checkout process to Upload Artwork Files once per order, vs. once per Award and Trophy Product?
Synopsis of this Feature:
Convenience is the name of the game. When uploading a logo file, typically that logo file will be used on multiple products on the order. For instance, lets assume
someone buys 10 trophies, 3 coach plaques, 2 team mom awards, and 7 sponsor plaques. The little leagues logo will typically be placed on the trophies, the coach plaques, the team mom awards and the sponsor plaques. Since the same logo file will be used for each product, it only needs to be uploaded one time for the entire order.
In addition, its not uncommon to have the customer want to send you an excel spreadsheet with recipient names, birth dates, anniversary dates or other engraving information that changes on an awards, while the main award layout design stays the same. We feel there needs to be a way for customers to upload these additional files, such as word documents, excel spreadsheets, CorelDraw files, PDF files, EPS files, etc. etc. since completion of the customers order may depend upon this information.
BizWizard ShopKart™:
NetSoft Studio provides a way to upload logos and other artwork files, spreadsheets, PDF's, documents, EPS files, basically any windows file type that may be needed for you to fulfill the customers order. In addition, there is no redundant file uploading required. Other shopping cart solutions have you upload the same artwork file for each product, which creates redundancy. BizWizard ShopKart™ does not require redundant artwork uploads for each product, even if the artwork is the same artwork file. The customer only needs to upload it once, and it can be reused for all products order in the awards shopping cart. See the following screen shot.

AwardsCart®:
When on AwardsCart®, the customer must upload the artwork for the team logo 4 times if 4 products are ordered. Once per award and trophy product line item added to the awards shopping cart, even if the logo artwork is the same for each product. In addition, AwardsCart® does not provide a way as far as we can tell to upload additional files such as excel spreadsheets, word documents, PDF files, EPS files or other windows files that are needed as part of the customers ordering process.
Let's see how AwardsCart® allows for artwork uploads. Notice in the following screen shot., we have added 4 different award and trophy products. Notice that each award and trophy product has a separate upload button to upload the artwork. This means the buyer will need to upload the logo artwork 4 times, once for each award and trophy product in the awards shopping cart for someone purchasing award and trophy products on an AwardsCart® designed web site. In addition, we don't find a way for someone to upload other files such as word documents, excel spreadsheets, CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator design files. Each award and trophy product appears to be limited to a single file upload..
As we all know, typically when ordering multiple quantities of award and trophy products, the person placing the ordering usually has their engraving in some sort of spreadsheet or word document. As a result, its much easier to provide them a mechanism to simply upload those items vs. requiring them to retype the information again into your ordering web page. AwardsCart® does not seem to have any facility to upload multiple files.
