Ability to Specify Award and Trophy Product Lead Days, Minimum Order Quantities, Ordering Increments?
Synopsis of this Feature:
Production Lead Days, allows you to sell awards and trophies you don't normally stock. So if you need to provide time to get the award or trophy shipped in, lets say 5 days lead time, then you can do so if your awards shopping cart supports identifying how many lead days a product needs.
Minimum Order Quantity, which allows you to define a minimum number of pieces of an award or trophy that must be purchased. Lets take for instance ribbons. Maybe you require the customer to purchase a minimum of 25 ribbons to satisfy the minimum order requirement.
Order In Increments Of, allows you to specify that a particular award or trophy must be ordered, say for instance in increments of 6 because your supplier only sells them in increments of 6. A Good example are champagne flutes for a wedding. Some suppliers of champagne flutes requires you to order in increments of 6
BizWizard ShopKart™
NetSoft Studio was careful to ensure these features were supported along with many other flexibilities on how each award and trophy product behaves in the shopping cart. For instance:
- Production Lead Days, BizWizard ShopKart™ will alert your customer of the problem, thus giving them a chance to select a different award or trophy and/or adjust the shipping method to request a more expedited shipping if the product lead days plus the shipping days will not deliver the award in time to the customer..
- Minimum Order Quantities are supported. If you specify a minimum quantity of 25, then BizWizard will force the customer to purchase at least a minimum of 25 of that award or trophy product.
- Order in Increments of is also supported by BizWizard ShopKart™, simply specify a number of 6, or whatever number is needed and BizWizard ShopKart™ will require the customer to order in that increment. With our example of ordering in increments of 6, that the customer must order 6, 12, 18, 24, etc. etc

We could not find any documentation on the AwardsCart® web site to indicate whether all three of these features exist or not. Because we know that AwardsCart® is a PinnacleCart Private label software solution, we confirmed with the documentation for PinnacleCart (version 3.7.0 documentation) that Minimum Order Quantity is supported.
We could not find any documentation at the PinnacleCart site about Production Lead Days or Order In Increments of. We do not know if the Version of PinnacleCart that AwardsCart® is built upon is 3.7.0, as AwardsCart® indicates their version number is 1.1.2, so we are not sure if AwardsCart® has Minimum Order Quantities as it may not be in the version of PinnacleCart that AwardsCart® is based upon.
